Francisquita and Alfonso Ribera were married October 25th 1925. My Grandmother was almost 15 years old when she married, she is approxamately 18 years old in this picture. She and my grandfather had 18 children, 15 survived.

My Grandfather on My Mother's Side.

The beginning of our family is very colorful. The First Generation is in dispute. Who is the Real One? Was he Ramona Alfonso Ribera or Francisco called Pancho. The Story that has come down through the Generations since the 1700's is about a young Mascalero Apache Indian Girl who was kidnapped by a Torres(z) family. She ran away and ended up at a very Large Ranch in Cimarron which is said to be in the Northern part of New Mexico. She was with child prior to going to the Ribera Ranch or during her stay there. Everyone agrees she left a male child, her son, at the Ranch before her departure. This male child is either Ramon Alfonso Ribera or Francisco Ribera. I was told Jose Dolores Ribera had an Adopted Son named Francisco (Pancho) Ribera, he was an adopted Brother to Eutimio Ribera born in 1877. Francisco is not related by blood. I need to verify this information.
